Anyone know anything about some job openings 'round this town? I ain't really been lookin', but I'd still like ta find something within the next few weeks. Been thinkin' 'bout something book or gun or alcohol related.

Well, been in this town fer about two weeks now.  Still gettin' used ta everything, like electricity and fridges and roads and all that shit.  Plus th' whole "seein' people I don't already know" thing.  Although, then again, it was just as weird ta see Kate here.  What a fuckin' small world.  Seen her around a few times since then, but we both seem ta be kinda tryin' ta find our own way.  Ain't really socialized much with anyone else 'round here.

Stopped by th' library the other day, and was pretty damn pleased with their selection.  Even had a pretty good few shelves a movies.  Got th' Sinatra movie The Detective.  Ain't seen that in ferever.

Still ain't found a job or nothin', but I ain't been lookin' too hard.  Been pretty cold and snowy fer the last week, ain't really felt like goin' out and explorin' much.  I've lived in warm places most of my life, down in th' South, then LA, and of course the damned island, and I'm just not used ta this coldass Canadian weather. 

Almost outta beer, though, so maybe I'll head down ta the grocery store later today.  Not like I got anything else planned.

Alright, it's pretty fuckin' late and I've been up way too long, so I'mma keep this short. I'm pretty well moved inta this new place. Got most of the important shit unpacked, although there's still some boxes out in the entry way. Not a bad hovel I got here, neither, considerin' I didn't see it at all afore I bought it. It'll do.

Figger tomorrow I'll head up inta town, see if I can't find somethin' ta do, some sort of job. Don't really need one, but it can't hurt. Might as well see what this town's made of, and iffin I can't find some way to make my stay here a little more interestin'.

Guess that's all fer now. So far, Canadian tv sucks ass, so I'm gon' go find one of the boxes of books I brought and shit.
